I, as a long time Patriots, fan will greatly miss Tedy Bruschi. Over the 13 years of his carreer he has done so much for the Pats. With three Superbowl rings on his hand he is a sure thing for the Hall of Fame.
My personal opinion is that the decision to retire was a well thought out plan by not only Tedy Bruschi, but also the team. That said, I see Bruschi on the side lines as a defensive coach in the very near future. My believe is that he simply cannot play quite as good as he was in his hay day. Now, instead of being cut from the team, The Patriots and himself chose to retire him.
Lets face it, the Pats need his leadership and energy for the team. Every player on that team has nothing but the utmost respect for Bruschi.
With Tedy retiring and maybe coaching, there is always the posability if the Pats defense has injury problems this season, he could always come out of retirment. Now that would be a story.
This is just my opinion and maybe my hopes.
At any rate, good luck to you Tedy Bruschi, and thank you for everything.

As a Boston sports fan, I could not be any more thrilled...
We have the Patriots who left us at the end of last season a playoff team. I wish they could have done better, but without Brady, I am happy they made it as far as they did. I think Cassel did a great job filling in.
The Celtics are playing great! They have a real shot at going back to back. I do know the Cleveland is going to be a huge challenge if they make that far. I myself was one of those fans whom had many doubts with the falling of Garnett and Powe going into the playoffs. However... Big Baby Davis has really stepped it up, and Rondo has been huge! It did not hurt getting Scalabrini back either. Its been great to watch.
And last but not least, we got our beloved Red Sox who started out scary in the begining of the season. The Sox also turned it around and have been on fire. They now look like a good team... Jason Bay has proved himself in my eyes to be better than Manny ever was for the Sox.

The Red Sox started out pretty ruff this season but, they seem to have got back on track.
I think every Red Sox fan in Boston, and the rest of the country, was wondering whats going on?... The starting record did not look so hot at 3 and 6. I my self was very happy to see the Sox sweep the Orioles and bring thier record over .500. I know, I know, it's only Baltimore... but a win is a win and a sweep is a sweep.
We can only hope they keep it up!!! GO RED SOX!!!

Curt Schilling said in his blog today he was going to retire.
Shilling will not be coming back to the Red Sox this season. After 2 World Series rings with the Sox,(2004 and 2007), and 1 with Arizona,(2001), he has had a great career. We as Red Sox fans will miss him and we wish him the best. After all his bloody sock, AKA RED SOX, is for ever in the Hall of Fame.
After being out most of last season with the shoulder injury, he does not have a contract for the up coming season. I guess he just decided to call it quits. Good bye and good luck to Curt Schilling from all of us Red Sox fans.

After tonights game I would have to say no...
Stephon Marbury and Mikki Moore did nothing for the Celtics tonight. I mean come on... Marbury only had 4 assists and Moore 4 rebound and 2 assists. This is not what we as Celtics fans expected from these guys. I hope they can turn it around soon cause we are not gonna get out injured players back for a week or two.
What do you guys think about the situation?
